What's on Jesse McCartney's iPod?
I talk a lot on the blog about what I'm listening to. Maybe it's time to get someone else's perspective for a change. Jesse McCartney (he of "Leavin") just posted a playlist on MySpace Music today.
Here are Jesse's ten tracks and a little bit about why he chose them:
1. Rihanna - Umbrella - "This right here is the catchiest song!"
2. Robin Thicke - Lost Without You - "Sexiest song! Practically every line of the chorus is a great song title in itself."
3. Bobby Brown - My Prerogative - "A classic 80s jam of all time. The track lives on long after the flat-top 'fro went away."
3. Jay -Z - I Know - "One of my favorite's off of his American Gangster album. Anytime Jay-Z and Pharrell get together on a track it's bound to be a hit."
4. Bob Marley - One Love - "This is an international song that carries a great message of peace. You can never go wrong with Bob Marley."
5. Justin Timberlake - My Love - "I love how this song starts with a bass-thumping beat and then flows into an r&b pattern."
6. Madonna - Like A Prayer - "She successfully redefines herself with every new album. This is essential Madonna."
7. Fall Out Boy - Dance, Dance - "A great modern rock track. It's upbeat, catchy, and you can't help but sing a long with it."
8. Kanye West - Stronger - "A great remake of the classic Daft Punk hit. Kanye isn't afraid to step out of the box and try something different."
9. Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah - "This ballad is the perfect expression of young love. It has a pure acoustic arrangement that is sweet and organic. "
10. Fergie - London Bridge - "Sean "The Pen" Garrett had a hand in it, so it must be good."
